Robotic World

Wires wires wires

I think it's so encloses us now that we don't even notice it any more. Digital Billboards. TV's staring blank back at me, turned on in every house from night- I can see the hynotising glare. Lights left on at midnight when no one cares but our great great grandchildren...I'm surrounded but I like it, pounding into my head the sounds of today, the vision of the future, the oh so glossy pretty futre. Headphones on, glaring at the screen. My eyes hurt.

Wires wires wires.

I'm such a hypocrite...

Live and Regret

Well I said I would write some poetry for this blog, so I guess I should.

Live and Regret

Born into the society
Great expectations brought down
Into the mold.
Warm clay in the hands of
The master,
The man who looks at your house when the lights are on at night
And wonders what you're doing.
The eyes of the world.

Growing to fit but
You wern't made for it.
Patching up something that
Shouldn't be.
At least acording to your neighbor
And the principal
You should be studying.
It's 7:30 and this test is gonna screw you're interm.

Sometimes I wounder
When the night hits the day
Why does it matter
How you do it what way
In the heart of disaster
What matters?

But thoughts only go so far
Carrying them out
Rarely happens.
Some say the crazy can pull it off
The burden crushing upon them.
You'd do anything for change
But not that...

Labels slapped on
They can see it in your eyes
Other people know you're not ment for here
They can see it in your skull deep inside
Like a sensor setting them off.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
Drilling into you're brain while all this time
They wish inside they could be like
The birds.

Flying away like the birds.

But the pressure molds clay
Stuck on the hill
Erosion takes place in form of
The rain of conformity.

Time goes by life ends life stops
Life reunites
Love is fleeting
Life is a wink of the eye
Of the world.

In a wink you thought you could mean something
In a wink.

But now, sitting on your bed
It's 7:30 and this could be the last one you ever see.
And as youre mind wanders on the edge of the clouds
Did it really matter?

You wish you would have lived now.
You're neighbor's lying in the bed beside you.
His son sitts at home staring at the wall
Shifting shapes and the rain pours down.
Down
Down
Down
Great expectianions.

just a thought

Why does the word "sugar" not start with an "sh"?

Trees....

I haven't posted since the summer. I bet your wondering how school is going.

Well, the hard truth is that school sucks, even if it's highschool. Yea, you get to see friends. That makes it tollarable. But its so boring! Highschool is tiring... I keep almost falling asleep. It wouldnt be so boring if the stuff we learn about wasn't so terribly boring.

Which brings me to my next point.

Trees. Why in the world do you we need to know about trees.

They sit there. The give out oxygen. They have leaves.
THATS IT!

Why do we need to know every last goddamn tree for bioligy? When will we ever use this? It's not like it's going to do anything for you in life. "Hey, my life was going off track, I was just a mess. But then I learned how to tell a Box Elder from an Ash tree and now, I feel like a person again." Somehow I can't see anyone saying that.

Ok, so its fine for a hobby, and it's fine if you love trees. Its just not something we need to know about! Honestly, when will we ever need this crap? NEVER. Unless you want to know how to be some sort of leaf professor, a profession that baffels me.

Who's with me? Let stop learning about trees and put school time to doing something useful!

And until I find out what that thing is, I'll be outside cutting some leaf samples.
